Flaticon the Awesome New Tool!

 Hey Readers!

In cybersmart we had to work through a google slideshow that has activities about blog posts. It was really fun although it took a while because there were 15 slides! At the end we had to make a comic in google drawings and we had to make our characters images from flaticon. Our comic was about a 

learning blog.

My DLO (Digital Learning Object) today will be my comic. Here it is:

I enjoyed finding the characters and deciding the layout of my comic.

It was challenging fitting the speech into the speech bubbles.

Personal or Private?

Today we learned about Private and Personal information. We then had to make a copy of a document. The document had Private information on one side and on the other side we had to turn the private information into personal information. Make sure you watch the video it has some very helpful tips!

Creating GIFS

Today in Digital Citizenship we learnt how to make GIFS using Creator Studio. It was challenging using something new, But I enjoyed it anyway because I like using new tools. We had to download the Creator studio extension and then apply it to our slides that we made at March at the start of the year.This was a really fun process to follow and I am excited to do this again soon!

Digital Citizenship: Speed test

Last week in digital citizenship we found a buddy and we did a shortcut speed test. When we found a buddy we had to make a copy of a shortcut speed test then share it with our buddy. When we share it with them we could start there was a bunch of questions/tasks and my buddy was Havana, I finished first. Have you Ever done a Speed test? En Pointe / Inspirational Quotes (SLJ)

For this SLJ activity we had to go to a website* with lots of inspirational quotes for kids.We had to pick one, and also pick an image to go with it, and had to write on a template in google drawings. Here is mine

Activity 1: Taking charge

If I was principal for a week...

If I was principal for a week I would make it mufti day everyday because I like wearing my favourite clothes. I would also let the kids have an extended lunch time so they have more time to chat with their friends so that they don't talk in the class. Everyday  I would have a tree and there were presents under neath if you were being good you would get one of the presents, Finally I would get the teachers to not be really serious!

Biteable the new awesome tool! 😁

Today in cybersmart we used a new tool called biteable. We had to make a biteable about our favorite things. Biteable is a program where you can make short movies to tell people something. Sorry it is my first time I think there are some mistakes! ☹️
